Scope

QMAX Pumping Systems, in partnership with O’Neill & Brown Plumbing Company, has significantly contributed to the sustainable Aspen Greenway project which commenced in September of 2020 and was completed early 2023. We supplied a bunch of high-quality products for this project including 2 sewer pump stations, 4 stormwater pump stations, a rainwater reuse system, and a cold-water booster system.

Challenges

One of the primary challenges encountered during this project revolved around the significant volume of subsoil drainage present on the site. Situated in close proximity to the Tuggeranong Creek, the project area experienced an excessive influx of groundwater into the basement region. Consequently, the subsoil collection pits required considerable size and rapid pumping capabilities. Addressing this challenge, QMAX successfully provided substantial 5,000L pump stations accompanied by powerful 7.5kW pumps and advanced control systems. This comprehensive solution effectively managed the subsoil drainage, ensuring optimal performance and mitigating potential water-related issues.

We also provided state-of-the-art sewer pump stations, a rainwater reuse system, and a powerful cold-water booster system. These dynamic solutions ensured smooth wastewater transportation, eco-friendly water conservation, and consistent water pressure throughout the site.

We thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with O’Neill and Brown Plumbing on this project, and we eagerly anticipate taking on similar projects in the future. These opportunities allow us to showcase our dedication to providing comprehensive pumping solutions, top-quality products, and exceptional customer service.
