Scope

QMAX designed and constructed sewer and stormwater pump stations for Coolamon Shire Council to service the Coolamon Business Park situated near rail lines. The project aimed to meet the specific needs of the area while ensuring compliance with safety standards along the railway corridor.

Challenges

QMAX embarked on a distinctive endeavor, constructing sewer and stormwater pump stations on a single plot of land, demanding meticulous planning and execution. Despite the challenges, we effectively managed the simultaneous installation and fit out within the stipulated timeframe, meeting Coolamon Shire Council’s requirements. Collaborating closely with the council, ensured the project complied with safety regulations, particularly along the rail line corridor, prioritising optimal safety measures. Leveraging advanced technology, fully integrated cloud-based remote access telemetry systems were installed for both pump stations, enabling comprehensive monitoring and control for streamlined operations and maintenance.
