Challenges

The existing pumpwell being at least 40 years old was causing significant operational issues. In particular the pumps were frequently blocked from rags and wet wipes. Safety for operators was also an issue due to corroded access covers and no safety grates installed.

Scope

Upgrade the pump station by supply and installation of new access covers with safety grates, new Muffin Monster® sewage macerator on inlet, and new control panel and level transducers, further eliminating ragging of existing float switches.
