QMax was engaged to upgrade the sewer pump station at a recreational area in Canberra. The upgrade involved new pumps, pipework, valves, controller and level sensors.

Being a live sewer station, all the necessary safety precautions needed to be taken, to ensure the project could be completed without breaching safety requirements.

The objective was to provide a more reliable system for our client, that would ensure there were less emergency callouts required to this sewer pump station, at a popular picnic location that is also environmentally sensitive, being close to the Murrumbidgee River.

The upgrade was completed in a single day, meaning the public could use the area the following day.
