Scope:

In June of 2022, the hydraulic contractors of the Silverwater Data Centre – Jones and Jones Master Plumbers – awarded QMAX with the job to provide potable and industrial water pump sets and all the associated filtration, with full redundancy and high level communications.

This included:

• • 2 Triplex 3KW potable water pump sets with duty rotation
  • 2 Triplex 1.5KW industrial water pump sets with duty rotation
  • 3 stage 4L/S industrial water filtration on stand-alone skid, with full redundancy
  • Side stream filter water 1.5kKW circulation pump set

Challenges:

Working with the contractor to provide the necessary equipment in the required time frame, in spite of supply chain difficulties. Pump sets were supplied initially without the electrical control systems to ensure that the contractor was able to complete the relevant site pipework and connections. The control systems were then fitted on site by one of the QMAX technicians, followed by commissioning.
